update from Annette in Townsville Qld

Hello all, we are home, back to the humidity but still in the heat.
My wraps- both are rather mouldy.
The mango wrap does show some faint colour on one side, the underside of the branch (hope that makes sense) and the cord I used to wrap it with is breaking. I have just left it as is, as you can see from the pic. (The hanging down bits)

The callistomen cloth is little different from previous posts, but is rather fragile, I pulled a bit to see if I could see any colour inside it and it tore, so I'll to be gentle with it. Can you see the bug that wanted to be in the picture too? It's the blurry dark bit in the centre!

I have a question, does the six months end at the beginning of February or the end?

hi Annette, as we started in early August i thought that end of February, which is end of Summer or Winter, would be appropriate, but really it's whenever you want if you've been reading a few comments recently. k.

A note to everyone on the blog here, i have removed a couple of comments made recently by someone who is not a member of this group and i have added a disclaimer to the side column. I do not condone the removal or wrapping or disturbance of plant material on or from protected conservation zones and we do not wish to be held responsible or liable for possibly inadvertently encouraging this action. kaite
